General description
BAG family molecular chaperone regulator 1 (BAG-1), also known as Bcl-2-associated athanogene 1, blocks a step in a pathway leading to apoptosis or programmed cell death. BAG-1 enhances the anti-apoptotic effects of BCL2 representing a link between growth factor receptors and anti-apoptotic mechanisms. BAG-1 is ubiquitously expressed throughout most tissues, except the liver, colon, breast, and uterine myometrium.
Immunogen
GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to Human BAG-1.
